Watch out, you are ratting on Jeremy for doing internal work and messing up the gaskets (jk)

Sorry to see your issues man...good luck getting it back together.

I don't do any of the fluid work related to drive train. Dealer always does the oil for as long as their is a warranty.

And yes they are doing the work under warranty.

As for the car being new... Apparently it was a known issue. Subaru issued a tsb for it back in 2012 only months after the car came out.

If Becky wants to run that weekend I would be fine with that. We can throw my wheels on and see how the car handles. If she decides not to it is looking like I will have the WRX back and running by then. Just have to finish reassembling the trans and put it back in the car.

Hey everyone,

Its been quite a while since I seen or talked with most of ya. Hope all is well. Most of you know I moved from Champaign last year to the Bay area because of work.

Unfortunately I have not had time to get out to go racing at all until a week or two ago. I have been on some very nice driving roads through some very stunning Redwoods..

To my surprise two people recognized me and the car from 2000 miles away. Apparently one of the guys used to run with club until sometime last year.

He came up to me as soon as he seen the cones. Glad people can pick these things out.

The site was a good site.. Large open concrete like we had in Rantoul only somewhat newer if you will. The course I drove was pretty fast, very very open/ not technical as it was a muscle car group running the event.

I was very rusty... Its been so long I forgot how to setup my car like I liked it.. didnt have any of my old notes and what not.. but it was fun just to knock the dust off.

Glad to hear from you again. Glad to see you got out. Make sure Becky is keeping her skills sharp too.
